1) التمر من أكثر الأطعمة احتواءا على عنصر الحديد حيث يمثل الحديد نسبة عالية في هذا الطعام وهذا الأمر جعل الكثير من الأطباء ينصحون مرضى فقر الدم الانيمياا بتناول التمر خصوصا على معدة فارغة.
2) رغم احتواء التمر على كثير من العناصر الغذائية الا أن الألياف الموجودة في تكوينه تجعله خفيفا على المعدةة وتمهيد رائه لها قبل أن يدخل اليها طعام جديد بعد توقفها عن العمل فترة طويلة وهذا الشئ من أهم فوائد التمر.
