مقدمة
تُعتبر الذاكرةُ المستودع الذي يُخزِّن فيه الفرد المواقف والأحداث والخبرات التي تمرّ به، فهي قدرة الفرد على تخزين المعلومات التي يستقبلها، وقدرته على استرجاعها مرةً أخرى، فالذاكرة على هذا الأساس تتكوّن من قسمين معاً: الأول هو التخزين؛ حيث يتم فيها عملية انتقاء المعلومات المهمة الواردة والضرورية، ومن ثم الاحتفاظ بها ليتم استخدامها في المستقبل مرةً أخرى عند الحاجة إليها، والثاني هو التذكُّر؛ حيث يتم استرجاع المعلومات التي سبق وتمّ تخزينها في الذاكرة، فالإنسان يتذكّر ما مرّ به من أحداث كصور مرئية شاهدها من قبل، أو يتذكر الأصوات التي سبق وسمعها، والمواقف السارة، وكذلك المواقف المُحزِنَة، فكل ذلك يتذكّره الإنسان، وقد أثبتت الدراسات أنّ صاحب الذاكرة العادية لديه القدرة على تخزين مليون معلومة داخل مخّه من الأسماء والأرقام، وأنّ هذا الرقم قد يرتفع ليصل إلى عشرة ملايين معلومة لدى الأفراد أصحاب القدرات الخاصة.
