مفهوم التقييم

يقصد بالتقييم لغة الحكم على القيمة وتقديرها, كما يعنى أيضا الإصلاح والتعديل وإزالة الاعوجاج.

يعد التقييم عملية منظمة يستهدف بها تحديد كفاءة أوقيمة أومعنى شئ ما ومفهوم التقييم من الناحية التدريبية يقصد به العملية المنظمة التى تقوم بها الإدارة بالمعلومات اللازمة لتكوين قرار عن مردود برامج التدريب الموضوعة بغرض تنمية الموارد البشرية بالمنظمة.

ويعتبر تقييم مردود التدريب والعائد على الأموال المستثمرة فيه من المجالات ذات الأهمية في المنظمات. وقد كانت البداية الطبيعية للكتابة فهي مجال تقييم التدريب ترتكز أساساً على الأعمال التي قدمها كيرك باتريك دونالد Kirk Patrik Donald في مقالاته الأربعة في مجلة التدريب والتنمية التي تصدرها الجمعية الأمريكية لمديري التدريب
