1 مفهوم التدريب والتطوير :
التدريب مفهوم مركب يتكون من عدة عناصر فهو يعني تغييرا الى الأحسن او تطويرا في معلومات الفرد وقدراته ومهاراته وأفكاره وسلوكياته واتجاهاته وذلك بهدف إعداد الفرد إعدادا جيدا لمواجهة متطلبات الوظائف الحالية وتنمية مهاراته الفنية والذهنية لمواجهة الاحتياجات المستقبلية.

· سؤال :
ماهي الأسباب التي أدت الى الاهتمام بالتدريب و تنمية العنصر البشري ؟

· الإجابة : تتضح أهمية التدريب فيما يلي:

1- ضرورة تدريب العاملين الجدد وإلمامهم بطبيعة العمل ومستوياته والمهارات اللازمة لأدائه بكفاءة عالية.

2- تهيئة الفرد للقيام بالمهام الجديدة وإكسابه المهارات الفكرية والفنية والسلوكية للمتطلبات الأساسية للوظيفة الجديدة، فعادة لا يستمر الفرد في أداء عمل معين طوال حياته بل يرتقي الى من مستوى أدنى الى مستوى أعلى، وبالتالي فلكل وظيفة متطلبات محددة للقيام بأعبائها ومسئولياتها.

3- التطور التكنولوجي في أساليب العمل ، فقد تحتاج الى مهارات نوعية خاصة ، وعلى ذلك من خلال التدريب يستطيع إعادة تنمية مهارات الأفراد الحالية حتى يستطيع التعامل مع الأساليب الحديثة التقنية.

4- زيادة إنتاجية الفرد، حيث ان اهتمام التدريب برع كفاءة الأفراد وإكسابهم مهارات جديدة ينعكس ذلك على مستوى أدائهم وحسن استخدامهم للإمكانيات المادية المتاحة وبالتالي تحسين جودة الأداء.

5- التخفيف من الإشراف: ان العمالة المدربة تستطيع الإشراف على نفسها بنفسها ولا تحتاج الى إشراف خارجي ، فكلما كان العنصر البشري غير مدرب نحتاج الى إشراف خارجي وكلما كان العنصر البشري مدربا نحتاج الى إشراف اقل.

6- الحد من الحوادث وإصابات العمل

7- رفع كفاءة الاستخدام للموارد البشرية وذلك عن طريق حسن الاستثمار للموارد البشرية المتاحة، فقد يظهر في بعض الأقسام فائض فيمكن من خلال التدريب إعادة تأهيله "التدريب التحويلي" والاستفادة منه في الأقسام التي تعاني من عجز في العمالة المدربة.
