تحديد الهدف :ــﻻ‌دارة الوقت بنجاح يجب عليك ان تحدد اﻻ‌هداف التى تسعى لتنفيذها . اذا عرفت ماذا تريد والى اين تتجه ستعرف تماما ما الذى تحتاج اليه وكم من الوقت يلزمك لتنجز ما تريد عمله .
دون تحديد اﻻ‌هداف بوضوح ستنجرف بعيدا ولن تحقق شىء وتشعر بالضياع .
ان الناس تتجاهل تحديد اﻻ‌هداف ﻷ‌نها تحتاج الى وقت وجهد ولكنهم ينسون ان معرفه ماتريد تنفيذه يوفر عليك كميه هائله من الوقت والمجهود الذى كنت ستبذله هنا وهناك بعيدا عن الهدف.تحــديد اﻻ‌ولويــات:ــحدد ما عليك عمله بترتيب اﻻ‌هميه والحاجه . بدون ذلك سيضيع الوقت على ما هو اقل اهميه ولن تحقق اى نتائج ﻷ‌نك تبذل المجهود والوقت على اشياء غير ذات اهميه .
لتجنب ذلك اعمل قائمه "بما يجب عمله " تبعا ﻷ‌هميتها وحجم الحاجه اليها وراجعها كلما انجزت عمﻼ‌ لتحدد المهمه التاليه.
اداره المقــاطعه :ــقلل المقاطعه على قدر المستطاع اثناء ادائك ﻻ‌ى عمل .خاصه المدير عليه استقبال المكالمات او استقبال العمﻼ‌ء او الرد على اﻻ‌ستفسارات من العمﻼ‌ء او الموظفين فى وقت ﻻ‌حق اذا كان لديه عمل مهم وجب تنفيذه فى الحال
.ولكن المقاطعه شىء ﻻ‌يمكن تجنبه فى العمل لذلك يجب تقليل الوقت المستهلك فيها الى ادنى حد ممكن.
ﻻ‌ تنهر احد عند مقاطعتك واﻻ‌ سيبتعد عنك الناس ويخشون مقاطعتك اثناء عملك مما يسبب المشاكل خاصة لو كان ما يريدوا اﻻ‌ستفسار عنه شىء مهم .التبــاطؤ ( التكاسل ):ــابدأ اﻵ‌ن وﻻ‌ تؤجل بدأ العمل*." سأعمل ذلك فيما بعد "*هذه الجمله أدت الى فشل كثير من الناس والموظفين .
ﻷ‌نه بعد كثيرا من "*فيما بعد*" سيتراكم العمل بحيث يعجز الفرد عن عمل اى شىء .
افضل طريقه للتخلص من التباطؤ هو ان تعرف سبب تأجيلك للعمل , هل هو خوف من الفشل ؟ام خوف من النجاح ان يعتمد عليك اﻵ‌خرين ﻻ‌نك نجحت فى عمل شىء ما ؟ تخلص بسرعه من هذه العاده بسرعه حتى ﻻ‌ تصبح شخص كسول يؤجل عمل اى شىء لما بعد .تعلم الروتين :ــان العمل دون تفكير قد يقيد النشاط ولكن اذا استخدم بصوره صحيحه يطلق الطاقات ويوفر الوقت . اختار عمل معين وكرر عمله كل يوم فى نفس الميعاد ولفتره زمنيه محدده مثل قراءه البريد , الرد على الرسائل المهمه ..الخ مع مرور الوقت ستنجزه بسرعه مما يوفر الوقت وستصبح عاده تؤديها تلقائيا كل يوم فى نفس الموعد ولن تتكاسل عن تأديتها .الجدولــه:ــان اداره الوقت عادة ما تترجم الى جدول مواعيد , ﻷ‌نك اذا عرفت الهدف وحددت اﻻ‌ولويات يمكنك ان تحدد الزمن وميعاد البدايه واﻻ‌نتهاء المطلوب ﻻ‌نجازه .وفى هذا الجدول يمكنك ان تترك وقت محدد للمقاطعات او المفاجآت التى قد تظهر وتحتاج لفتره من الوقت .
اذا وضحت كل اﻻ‌حتماﻻ‌ت فى هذا الجدول ستسيطرعلى وقتك تماما وستتوازن حياتك .

تقسيم العمل الى اجزاء:حدد الوقت الذى تحتاجه ﻷ‌داء العمل المطلوب منك ثم قسم العمل الى اجزاء ووزع الوقت على كل جزء بحيث تنتهى من كل جزء فى الميعاد المحدد له .
هذه الطريقه تجعلك تشعر انك تنجز فﻼ‌ تشعر بتوتر او ملل مما تفعله وتجد انك قد اديت ما هو مطلوب منك فى الوقت الذى حددته لﻼ‌نتهاء من المهمه.ﻻ‌ تنشغل باكثر من عمل فى وقت واحد :ــاننا غالبا ما نبدأ فى عمل لتنفيذه ثم يطلب منا عمل آخر فنترك ما بدأنا فيه ونفكر فى العمل اﻵ‌خر. سنجد ان لدينا اكثر من عمل مطلوب اتمامه ولم ننجز اى واحد منهم .تجنب ذلك تماما وانتهى مما بدأت فى اﻻ‌ول ثم ابدأ العمل الثانى
.وحتى ﻻ‌ تشعر باﻻ‌رتباك حدد ميعاد لﻼ‌نتهاء من العمل الذى بدأته فى اﻻ‌ول وميعاد البدأ واﻹ‌نتهاء من العمل الثانى .
حدد ميعاد البدأ واﻹ‌نتهاء :ــقيم الوقت المطلوب لكل عمل تؤديه ثم حدد ميعاد البدايه والنهايه. هذا سيساعدك عل تنظيم وقتك جيدا .وتستطيع ان تترك وقت لراحتك فﻼ‌ تشعر باﻹ‌جهاد او اﻹ‌رتباك مع كثرة ما هو مطلوب منك.
