العملية التي يتم بمقتضاها مدى التزام الموظف بـ ِ
1) أداء العمل .
2)سلوكيات العمل .
3) إتقان العمل .
ولهذا فان على المنظمة أن تحدد أصحاب الانجازات الوظيفية من الموظفين وتضعهم في قائمة المتميزين بالنسبة لجميع الموظفين داخل المنظمة ولهذا فان عملية التقويم تسعى لأهداف متعددة منها :-
1) أهداف إدارية 2) أهداف التوجيه والإرشاد .
الأهداف الإدارية :-
قرارات الترقية والنقل وتخفيض المرتبة .
قرارات تجديد العقود أو إنهائها .
قرارات صرف المكافآت التشجيعية .
قرارات إلحاق الموظف ببرامج تدريبية وتطويره .
الأهداف الإرشادية والتوجيه :-
برامج الحوافز .
إبراز جوانب الضعف والقوة في أداء الموظف .
إرشاد الموظف إلى البرامج التدريبية وإعادة التأهيل .
